Dr. Douglas Brown and Dr. LaKedra Brown found love again within one another and entered into happy matrimony, August 15, 2015. What some may see as a challenge, they view as a privilege. Being privileged and blessed with such a beautiful, blended family has not only equipped them with some of the most essential real-life tools needed for helping other families grow and develop but how to also strengthen and protect marriages.  Having been blessed to be the Pastor and First Lady of the Great Commission Baptist Church, they further understand the unspoken strains that come with ministry, especially on a marriage.

This is why Dr. Douglas Brown and Dr. LaKedra Brown have extended their counseling services beyond just family, premarital, and marriage and have become experts on counseling other couples who are also in ministry. Pastor’s and Pastor’s Wives, Minister’s and Minister’s Wives, Deacons and Deacon Wives as well as many others no longer have to feel as though they do not have a safe place to run too. This husband and wife, Pastor and First Lady team are here to counsel, guide, and most importantly pray for you and your marriage.
