DBL Connections Inc. was founded by a husband-and-wife team, Dr. Douglas E Brown and Dr. LaKedra L. Brown. Together they Prayed and Together they Labored and with the Blessings of God they started on their journey of Connecting The Family.
Whether that means ministering to men on how to live as Godly men, empowering women to live the life that God designed specifically for them, or strengthening couples who are seeking God in their relationships.
The Browns know and understand that the family dynamic has many moving parts and when one part is not functioning properly, it can affect the entire dynamic.

Dr.
Douglas E. Brown
DD, CBC
Is a modest, yet powerfully anointed gospel preacher. He is formerly a Deputy Sheriff for the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Department, a Reserve Deputy Constable, and a United States Army Veteran.
With 27 years of Pastoral experience, and as an honored member of the Congressional Youth Leadership Council and a former Advisory Member of the Black Church Studies for the Brite Divinity School, Dr. Brown has been recognized as a Man of Vision and A Trail Blazer throughout the city and across the country.
He attended Tyndale Theological Seminary and graduated with a Master of Biblical Studies from Saint Thomas Christian College where he also received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity. Dr. Brown is a Chaplain and has had the privilege of conducting chapel service for the Dallas Cowboys. He is also a certified Biblical Counselor through Southwestern Theological Seminary.
Along with his education, experience and love for people, he hopes to help people strive to become the “BEST YOU.” Which has inspired him to write his first book “Designed to Make It.”
Dr. Brown, resides in North Texas with his wife Dr. LaKedra L. Brown and their children.

LaKedra L Brown
PhD, CRC, CBC
is the CEO and Owner of DBL Connections, which umbrellas her pride and joy, Epiphany516. She is a highly sought-after life coach, business consultant, and forensic expert. She is currently working on several prized projects, including her first published book.
Her educational journey has led her to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, and a Doctorate in Family Studies. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor as well as a Certified Biblical Counselor.
LaKedra has and continues to provide consulting services for agencies such as the Federal Government, the State of Texas, and both local and statewide organizations. She provides personal and professional coaching services worldwide and expert testimony throughout the United States.
Through her books, coaching courses, counseling, and workshops, she hopes to encourage and enrich the lives of others. Dr. LaKedra Brown resides in North Texas with her husband Dr. Pastor Douglas E Brown and their children. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and she enjoys dancing, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with close family and friends.
